1. So you are saying the way the stage will look, the crowd, the camera angles, and the ste list, none of wich matter to a U2 shoot. Please tell me what does? Location? Slane DVD is horrible, the worst they have done. It seems like you are just making a quip to be an ass. Please explain what does matter...

On what are you basing the Slane DVD being horrible? That's alot of people's favorite DVD
  3. I'm assuming they film it in an outdoor location, good weather and sold-out crowd. The Rose Bowl is my bet.

Hate to add to the "ass" sentiment, but there's no way they're filming a concert DVD in Norman. Can you imagine "U2 360 Tour: Live From Oklahoma!!!"

I simply refered to the reasons you posted. This stage dwarfs many stadiums. Filming a concert is completely different to filming a football game so what guarantee is there that those existing camera positions will be 'awesome' for a concert. They will use all their own angles. The new album has tanked in America, so much so that they are dropping new material. I think they need to include as much new materialas possible. That they haven't played Oklahoma in years wonpt make any difference to the gig. You may get an extra Bono speech though. Slane isn't perfect indeed, but it doesn't improve Oklahomas chance.
  6. I think it was Chicago.
Bono introduces the band and I don't think he has done that on any other show.
I also read somewhere that Bono said that they had the best location and sound there.
Could be that I'm wrong, but from what I've heard it's a great concert

Virtually all the shows in Europe had a band introduction of some sort

  8. Yeah, but not the way That Bono did in Chicago

  9. He said:
'Let me introduce my colleagues, on sky scraping guitar, the man who makes Dr Spock look like Dr Ruth, The Edge. On bass guitar, the man who from an early age knew four strings are better than six, the elegant Adam Clayton. On drums, the thunder and lighting of the band, Larry Mullen Jnr - and when he smiles the sun comes out..'

But like I said I could be wrong
