1. Hi all,

Some random shows from my secret concert vault. I've collected quite some shows over the years, and when a show is special to me, I usually give it the noiseless treatment. Which means, basically: accentuate the good things and eliminate the bad things. I always try to achieve a 'neutral' sound, with a healthy frequency response, a natural stereo image, and balanced EQ'ing; I try to avoid booming basses, harsh hi-hats and sharp S's in the vocal.

Sometimes I like to "remaster" a U2 show, most of the time I choose other shows. For those who like my work and like The Police, Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Beck, Mick Jagger, Kaiser Chiefs for example, you might find some nice concerts here. Don't expect 1000s of shows but I might update this post irregularly (assuming that's okay at a U2 board).

All shows in mp3 due to slow upload speeds (and many of you seem to prefer mp3 above flac anyway).

    For a start:

    The Police - Hatfield 1979-02-21 - pFM - remastered

    Jeff Buckley - Glastonbury 1995-06-24 - pFM - remastered

    Radiohead - Berlin 2000-04-07 - pSAT - remastered

Mick Jagger - New York 1993-02-09 - SBD - remastered
  2. lovely
  3. I'll be grabbing that Radiohead show. Thanks a lot.
  4. Huge fan of Police over here, so THANKS a million
  5. cheers man, I'm gonna check out that Police show of yours at some point.
  6. Second round

Lots of U2 fans seem to like the Police and Radiohead, just like me. That's a lucky coincidence as I have a shitload of Police and Radiohead shows, all of 'em taken care of as good as I could.

    The Police - Chicago 1979-05-25 - pFM - remastered
I guess this is my all-time favourite Police boot. This is as raw as the Hatfield show is neat. Incredibly energetic show. It sounds big, bold and sweaty. It took some to get something decent out of it but it was worth the trouble.

    Radiohead - Manfield 2003-08-13 - FM - remastered
And some Radiohead again, catched in their peak of eccentricity. Might be a show of polarization: love it or hate it. I love it for sure.

    Beck - Stuttgart 1996-11-20 - FM - remastered
This guy is insanely funny. Never bores me. Even washing the dishes is fun when you play Beck loud. Yeah I'm a loser baby.

    Kaiser Chiefs - Jena 2008-06-28 - TV - remastered
Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs! Kaiser Chiefs!

Ah going through these archived shows makes my fingers itching to do a U2 show again, I hope I'll find something interesting soon.

    cheers
  7. Wow! Thanks for the Radiohead in Berlin, it's awesome.
  8. Don't suppose there's any '97 Radiohead in your vaults? Cheeky question I know.

    These are great, thanks

  9. Not cheeky at all and I wouldn't mind posting it if I had it. But I only have quite some 2000-2008 shows as I don't care too much about their earlier work.

Once again, I will get that show as soon as I can, that sounds promising, even though I prefer their older (1982-1983) shows, but who cares. Pre-FM source and remastered by noiseless, you won't get much better than that anywhere

    Thanks again, mate
