Yep, I got that, hence the edit.
No Line isn't exactly what I'd call a "punch in the face" or a rocker, though. And why would it be ballsier to open with that than with Breathe?

  2. ya, maybe they don't want to open with No Line because they wouldn't know what to do with breathe if it's not in the opening slot. Possibly shown by the fact they didn't play it when they opened with Magnificent.
  3. yeah - I don't think that opening with NLOTH it's "ballsier" than opening with Breathe. The fact that they aren't trying to open with NLOTH is lack of balls, that's it.

doc - Breathe could work easily after UltraViolet. Just make Larry's drum intro a bit shorter and you got it. COBL didn't open the show in Europe, but it was played after all.

I guess the fact that they aren't trying to open with a Viva la vida cover is a lack of balls, too then.

    No, that would be stupid.
Opening with NLOTH would be, at least, different. Might be shitty or great, I can't assure that... but they could try.

PS. Bono can't reach the Ohohoohohoooooh's in VLV.

apart from Your Blue Room and Ultraviolet, it could all be said to be a lack of balls.

    Still kinda good though
  7. The Crazy remix isn't what Id call lack of balls, either. But I got your point.

  8. could also be called embarrassing. I liked it up until they started adding snippets to the start of it

Opening with any song would be different. Not trying it doesn't mean that they chicken out. Different doesn't mean better - They obviously think that Breathe is a good starter. And why fix it if it ain't broken? You can agree or disagree on that.
Not a question of balls or vaginas, though.

COBL fit well into the middle of the set in Europe on Vertigo, idk if there is a spot that Breathe would work really well in. I like your idea but that would involve changing the encore, which they appear to have less balls to change than the opening song
  11. Breath is a good opener, I just don't think they should play four new songs at the start.
