1. just noticed that venue map. No idea whats going on there with that section in the middle. Looks way too large for space for a tracked camera though. Odd. Seville has the same thing going on
  2. I will kill myself if they shoot the DVD at the Rose Bowl. thats 20 minutes away from my house! and i dont even have tickets to the show. -_- stupid parents, by the time they got home that day, the tickets were sold out.

head down anyway. Chances are the ticket outlet might throw some onsale on the day.. Scalpers are having trouble giving tickets away these days so go down with a few dollars and i'm sure you will get a ticket
  4. ok American DVD is more or less confirmed now

  5. well, maybe the americans are better in open stadiums than close arenas.

Try stubhub.com for tickets! I've used them for a number of events and never had a problem.

Agreed. I'd also like to see more NLOTH songs. Bring back UC and add Fez!!!

But I think the DVD's actually are neutral in terms of location if I recall them all correctly:

War: UABRS, Red Rocks, Colorado (USA)
    Joshua Tree: Paris, France
    Achtung Baby: Sidney, Australia
    POP: Mexico
    ATYCLB: Boston, MA (USA)
    ATYCLB: Slane Castle, Ireland
    Vertigo: Chicago, Illinois (USA)
    Vertigo: Milan
U23D: Latin America (Mexico, and South America)

    TOTAL: 3 USA, 6 NON-USA

I don't think the location matters as much as the set-list + the performance + the crowd + the DVD production.

Sidney was incredible, where as Paris was so-so. Milan and Chicago were good, but the Milan crowd was better whereas the Chicago set-list was better (IMHO). Although the Milan DVD did not include all songs.

The Rose Bowl would be a good location, but so would Oklahoma. I don't think they are going to film in an indoor location. Also, I wonder if they are trying to get something out in time for Christmas? They could always release another DVD in the fall of 2010 after the new tunes and in time for Christmas 2010.

    Just some thoughts.....

  9. Chicago was pure crap. Band messing up, ridiculous directing by HH... could be me because I don't like the Vertigo Tour. However I'm very much looking forward to the 360 DVD. Hopefully it'll give some great shots from the Claw. Setlist is very important indeed. We'll see what the future brings.

An Cat Dubh, and Into the Heart made this video for me. Two of my favorites!

  11. yeah that one, Electric Co and The Fly/Zoo Station were the only highlights of that dvd.
