Probably this one is a little "less common" with the casual fans (those who only know Beautiful Day, Elevation, Walk On and One) but for us older fans we'd know these (like "40", Gloria, Bad, MLK etc) and I know from compiling this list that it is absolutely fantastic - even better without gaps!

    So here goes - oh yeah and I have no other artist snippets because a U2 show is about U2!

    The openers are always interesting to choose I'd say. You can say a lot about the 'concept' of a show. However, rhe 'real' old songs are always kicking ass! hehe. I hope they'll stick to throwing some in at times in the next tour, preferably Gloria and The Electric co. Goes without saing that I Will Follow is to be played too, of course.
  11. Yeah some openers are really interesting. I didn't like Vertigo as an opener as much as I liked Elevation, Streets, Love and Peace or City of Blinding Lights - where who would think Love and Peace would be used as an opener?

    I think we'll see a little more of the older songs - Gloria, I Will Follow, Out Of Control, Unforgettable Fire, A Sort of Homecoming (if Bono remembers the lyrics) and MLK (I hope!)

    So maybe, the next tour will be a little less extravagant and back to basics.


    Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum - very basic, just a stage with equipment. No fancy lights, screens etc. Just pure rock!

    ZooTV and POPmart - lots of new technology and concepts such as HD screens, lighting, lemons, Trabants etc.

    Elevation and Vertigo - a simple stage but very large still. Not extremely basic but big enough.

    I consider Vertigo's stage and show more closer to POP and ZOO than to Elevation.
