1. Saw "It Might Get Loud" today. Highly recomend it, well done. No real insights to the Edge, but it was good to hear him tell his own story and it was great to see him playing and interacting with Jimmy and Jack. I'll be sure to buy it when it comes to DVD.

wasnt In My Time of Dying just the coolest thing you've ever heard?? I had to see it TWICE just for that.
  3. YES! I loved that! Those who say "He can't really play", should see that!

  4. I know! Just in case, heres from a some magazine, “I have to say, it was great to hear The Edge play that song. He just went roaring into this bottleneck lead, and it was really trippy to hear him play so off-the-cuff and do it so well.” Jimmy Page on The Edge playing Led Zep’s In My Time Of Dying.

    Just soooo great. Great movie.
  5. Definiteley want to see this movie, hopefully it comes to Europe.... otherwiste I'll wait for the DVD
  6. Any word on the DVD release? I'm not sure it will come here to Ottawa.
  7. I thought IT MIGHT GET LOUD, and The Edge in it, was great!

  8. I talked with the director and producer opening night.

    Soundtrack? NO.

DVD? Yes. The producer said December 29th, or there abouts.

She also said that they played more tunes together than what are in the film. She pointed out that the other tunes were great too but they felt the 3 that they used for the film worked together.

What were the other three tunes (from each band) that were played? All three played:

    Kashmir by Led Zeppelin
Seven Nation Army by White Stripes
    and
Bullet The Blue Sky by U2.

They said the other songs plus LOADS more footage will be DVD extras when that is released.
  9. Any word on a European release
