1. Considering I started off a whole new discussion about UC I thought I'd better chip in with my comments...

It has become one of my top 5 live tracks.

I love love love love the chorus.

Restart and Reboot Yourself has become a mantra for me when things don't go my way, in the same way as Dream Out Loud is in everything I try to do.

Yes, the kareoke on the screen is a bit cheesy, and unnecessary at a U2 gig where the majority of the crowd would be screaming every word of every song (unless I'm judging everybody by my standards?!?!?!)

I really like the idea of UC into Streets, and always thought it would work. Maybe they'll try it for 2010.

All in all - BRING IT BACK!!!!!!

UC - Streets segue would be pretty cool...had never thought of that but it would! hope they do try it!
  3. They should bring it back. Together with the Unforgettable Fire it was a nice pair.
Unknown Caller worked very well in Paris and twice in Amsterdam. I think they dropped it because of the audiences in America. Too much songs from a new album is too much for them. In Europe 4 new songs in a row at the beginning at a show was no problem. In America after a few concerts U2 changed it to 2 and later in the show the other 2.
I do hope that they will play Unkown Caller again in Europe in 2010.

    See you then.
  4. bring Unknown Caller back and switch the Crazy Remix for the normal version. That should keep the Americans happy enough I reckon

Americans have no idea about Crazy Tonight. It was on a commercial for like what, 2 weeks in the summer? No one is gonna remember -_- It did horrible in the radio. Im ashamed for America. We don't appreciate U2 like we should.

Unknown Caller is a song that insists you join in... now you can. The band's production team are aiming to create a 'global chorus' of people singing the track. Sing up - and send us your video clip.

Here's how it works. Choose a section of the song (see below) - or choose them all - set up your camera and start singing. Might be solo. Might be with your friends. Might be an entire choir. Shoot the clip and then email it to us at unknowncallervideo@u2.com. (If the file is over 10megs, post it in Zootopia instead.)

    Here's what to do.

    EMAIL
Email your video as either a .mov or an .avi file to unknowncallervideo@u2.com and make sure it is no larger than 10 megs. If it is larger than this then follow the directions below.

    POST
To post your clip in Zootopia - our U2.com community area make sure you add a tag when you post it, starting with the word 'chorus' - for example, 'Chorus Delhi' or 'Chorus Cardiff'.

Choose one of these sections to sing ... or all of them :

Go, shout it out, rise up
    Oh, oh
    Escape yourself, and gravity
Hear me, cease to speak that I may speak
    Shush now
    Oh, oh
Force quit and move to trash

    Restart and re-boot yourself
    You're free to go
    Oh, oh
Shout for joy if you get the chance
Password, you, enter here, right now

    Oh, oh
You know your name so punch it in
Hear me, cease to speak that I may speak
    Shush now
    Oh, oh
Then don't move or say a thing

When you submit your 'Chorus' clip to us, you're giving the team permission to use it in the way their artistic muse dictates - free and gratis - wherever! Who knows where it could end up... )

To help get you in the mood, watch this clip of the audience singing along in London.
  8. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO doing that....
  9. Cool. Im gonna send in
  10. You think UC is the next single? If they are doing this idea for a video for it, it would make sense. It should be very entertaining.

I don't see that. Releasing a live DVD with random fans footage of one song? w t f

I think it will be the next single, and our footage will be used for the official videoclip (watching yourself on the MTV, cool)
