1. same, it's one of my favourites

  2. Same, has a fantastic melancholy atmosphere.

I always thought Hot Fuss was their best record, but my brother who's Killers fan proper says that Sam's Town is generally regarded as best in fan opinion. What do people here think?
  3. I'm more of a Sam's Town fan, myself, although I love them both.
  4. Weren't The Killers supposed to be doing a cover album?

Also I know they have a song on the soundtrack of the new Twilight movie. I could care less about the film but I'm excited to hear the song.

NOOOOOOOOOO THIS IS HORRIBLE NEWS!!! I HATE TWILIGHT
  6. Yeah they were meant to be but nothing has really happened about it. Probbly out next year sometime.

I have heard it, I don't think it is a very good song from first impressions. It does't really sound like the Killers so me...

Glad it seems lots of people like the Killers
  7. White Demon Love Song from the New Moon soundtrack

I'm not sure what to make of it, its definitely interesting! Has A Dustland Fairytale/Bones mixed with something from Hot Fuss (Beleive me Natalie?) vibe.

Hot Fuss has some great tunes, but as an album, I prefer Sam's Town, Hot Fuss kind of sounds like a greatest hits compilation, while Sam's Town is more of an album. I prefer Day & Age though

  9. Can anybody give a link to a 2009 bootleg where they perform This river is wild? IMO this song now sounds just fantastic live!
  10. not a massive fan of A White Demon Love Song, something about it doesn't quite click. it's too "Goodnight, Travel Well"-ish for me, and I was never a fan of that either. still, you can't please everyone I suppose.
