1. sadly my Ipod has decided to give up on me, so any recommendations on a MP3 player over 8GB? I'm tempted by the new Ipod Nano but have heard good things about other players
  2. Did you give it a light whack on the back? Worked for me.

The new nano looks cheap, not in price but build. The Sansa and iRiver players released a few weeks back look great and sound it too.
  3. Cheers Drew, I'm looking at those two now, the Iriver seems abit confusing but has good reviews, the Sansa looks pretty solid aswell. maybe time to turn my back on apple and speaking to the lovely "Britney" from their customber services
  4. Well whatever one you go for let us know. Creative is worth a look as is Apacer.

Windows 7 released today. Is anybody remotely excited or underwhelmed?

Sana offer some very cheap but feature rich players with amazing audio quality and drop and drag file management. Depends on your uses though. I have an 8gb Sansa clip and it is amazing. For audio only though. No photos or videos etc. You do get FM recording and playback answell as a voice recorder and a great player that will pump out any file type you throw at it.

The Sansa fuze comes in up to 8gb but you can expand it with an 8gb memory card to give 16. Depends on your needs. Clip and Fuze are both great though

    The Clip :

    The Fuze :

  6. The Clip plays FLAC then?
  7. I must say both look pretty impressive. I think i'm passed the point of looking for a player that has pretty album art, The clip looks pretty to the point, cheers

Running it for some months (RC and RTM). Being a student has it advantages I dont want to go back. It definitely the best OS launched till this date. Worth every buck.

There is a family pack that gives you 3 licenses for 130 euro (like Apple has). But I think most people will just get it on their new pc.

This is how Vista should have been!
  9. I saw an ad on the TV earlier where one store was doing it $120 cheaper than the other. I have to say from when I was running it worked very well and things just worked, I couldn't say the same for Vista.

It should have been Vista from day one.
