laptop? I have an S-video cable that lets me plug into the back of my TV
  2. And would one then be able to record the show from the TV?

  3. My turn to rant .Too bad the band didnt film the shows from Giants Stadium.I didnt see anyone in my section "eating hotdogs".They were drinking Guinness and singing loud. They were fantastic. They love playing here in NYC and America. For example. The band played 80 shows (2 legs) in North America in 2001.They played 33 (1leg) in Europe that same year. The band played 8 sold out nights at Madison Square Garden in 2005.Did they play 8 nights,in one venue, in Europe in 2005?.The band should have learned from their mistake in 2001,NYC should have been the dvd release for the Vertigo Tour. For some reason, they chose to film in Chicago.A mistake. The numbers for the Vertigo Tour are the same.2 legs in America,1 in Europe. They made the same mistake by filming in 2001 at Boston instead of NYC.Go figure. They should release the shows from 10.24,10.25 and 10.27.01.You will not find more passion, fervor and powerful emotion from any other U2 shows.Ever.And yes, that includes Europe guys.Give the Rose Bowl gig a chance people. You Europeans are mocking it,before the show is even filmed!!!! Chill out,and enjoy the free show the band are sending out to us.Im sure ,alot of you Europeans ,are already writting your negative comments about the American audience.BEFORE the show is even played. That is pure ,classic European bias. This might be asking alot, but TRY to be open minded about the upcoming show.

  4. I could be wrong, but you'd have to run through something that can record...(DVD-R burner or VHS ( ))

  5. I'll have to see if a friend has one of them, I'm pretty sure I don't.

  6. See if you have a HDMI input and then get a cheap cable. But S-video should suffice.
  7. great. thanks for the help. will run over to radio shack for a cheap cable. thanks all.
  8. Sunday - hope I'm not busy. As long as there's a rip of it somewhere I'm good.
  9. Monday afternoon we'll have pleny of versions: edited, unedited, with menu, without menu, in AVI, in MP4, in full DVD and even an iPod ready version, I'm sure.
  10. And a remaster Tuesday I bet.
