1. Ok, I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm new here so please bear with me. I'm COMPLETELY overwhelmed by the opportunity to freely download the shows here! I've been on the net since 95 and have been listening to U2 since about 1986. I have actually bought bootleg cds before back in the early days of the internet...anyone remember cdnow?

sorry for the rambling....so I'm looking to start getting some shows and I was wondering if there was a list somewhere or if ppl could just list their opinions on what the definitive bootlegs were from each tour?

just maybe a couple shows from each tour would be a great starting place for me as i've been looking through everything and have NO idea what to even start downloading other than a few I got so far based on tour/setlists. Thanks for any input!

  2. Thanks a lot for the link and thanks for the welcome Yeah, I figured there had to be such a list somewhere...this should help a lot considering the sheer amount of material available!! I'm currently at work so must keep my online activity to a minimum. I'll check out the link as soon as I have time though. Thanks again!

No problem. Believe me, there's even more than you see on those pages. When you do get the time, have a pop through the threads, search for things, participate in the forums whenever you can or want - you will be amazed by what and who's here. I know after three years I still am and can't believe how much stuff there is to go through.

they sound good so far! I'm actually using your list as a roadmap of what to download currently so yeah, thanks a lot! I think it's funny that in the first link posted, the one reply contained nearly 10-15 shows per tour when the OP asked for a brief list LOL I guess though it gets hard to pick just a few when you consider quality vs setlist vs rarities....

Your welcome , happy to help. I was thinking for POPMART if you wanted rarities, the 1st show in Las Vagas would be good because that has Do You Feel Loved, If God Will Send His Angels and Staring at the Sun (full band version). Have a good time downloading and listening, I know I have .
