If that other guy (or woman) shoots faster you're just as dead

It aint just learning to shoot. Everyone who gets a concealed carry permit, has got to learn how to survive in a gunfight. Moving tactically aint as hard as it sounds.

Thats not even close to the topic lol...I dont care about gun tactics and whatever crap, where there's a gun fight there are bound to be people hurt and injured, easy as that. So forbid guns, no problems at all.

Above all, giving everyone such a training is a bit expensive, dont you think?

You dont buy a car, if you cant drive. Why buy a gun, if you cant shoot?

  5. Because, if I'm following your theory, you should own a gun to survive in Gun Country lol

  6. The way I see it, the odds of guns going away are rather low, since the NRA has a lobby, that would make the insurance companys blush. You can either live in fear of guns, or embrace them as a somewhat unpleasant tool, that in the hands of someone who has rightfully purchased it, and knows how to used it can save lives.

Guns dont save lives. Guns are made for killing and killing only.

And I dont live in fear for guns, I live WITHOUT guns. And I can tell you it feels like heaven, not being afraid of anyone who can suddenly point a gun at you.

This. So much. And anyone who believes more guns = less crime is seriously misinformed. I like being able to tell idiots in the street to f*ck off without worrying that some jerk has a gun.

There's this mythos, mostly in America, where people imagine themselves heroes saving lives with the point of a gun. More often than not it's all in their head.

    A "god-given right" ??

  10. I belive its a god given right, that if someone is in a postition to kill you, to respond with lethal force. The main reasons I'm against gun control, is that it kinda takes away from personal responsibility, something that I believe is important. The other reason I'm against it, is because most of the people I know who are for it, are a bunch of hypocrites, taking away your guns with one hand, and popping acid with the other. Its alaso worth noting, that it would be imposible to get rid of them completely, in which case, that probally wont stop the criminals, since there breaking the laws anyway. My as well let good people own them then, since thats all gun control does. Keeps them out of the hands of the people who aren't going to use them for evil. It's also worth noting that while I believe in the second amendment in genreal, that I belive the militaia clause should be removed, since what was meant, has more or less become the National Guard. I belive we should find something else to argue about, since this really come down to personal opinions. If you feel more safe with a gun, good for you. If not, I dont agree with you, but I respect you're right to disagree with me.

Joke: I guess you could say, I'm for gun control. If I see a gun in a room, I want to control it.
  11. Obama should either bring the boys home, or give them the support you need. Trust me when I say this. The men on the ground know more about how to fight a war than he does.

The men on the ground may know how to fight the war, but they will never end the war Afghanistan is a lost case, you cant win from an ideology where dying for the cause is the best thing someone can do.

Fighting in Afghanistan made the world all but a safer place imho. It will take us decades to defeat the taliban.
