alot of the camera angles didn't seem that great as well, which also takes away a bit from the overall performances, so i'm sure there will be some editing involved.

Make no mistake, i'll be lining up to grab this on the day of release like any U2 release, but them, i'm a hardcore fan from waaaaaaay back!

I don't get it if he sings out of tune or mangles a lyric on YT he's going to sing out of tune and mangle a lyric on DVD, except now you can hear him do it with much higher fidelity.

Don't they record every show? Why dont they just go through and pick the best performances of individual songs from the entire tour?

  5. Sorry, I surely understand mate. Had little sleep..you know the reason I think

U2360 Tour Live from Various Places? Naah...

  7. The rebroadcast is over, they're working on making the gig available as video.

  8. For sure. Say what you will about the performance or setlist. I got to watch a FREE U2 concert from home, with almost no problems. Big thanks.

Alot of critisism was based towards the crowd & overall performance, i put alot of that down to not actually being able to hear the crowd noise what so ever, almost like listening to certain soundboard recordings.

Naturally the band fluff it at times, Bono's voice whilst very strong at times during this tour [listening to quite a few of the boots], but it can also take its toll as well from all tours, we all know that, U2 aren't the only band and won't be the only band to not be 100% spot on in all gigs, doesn't take away from their status imo as being the best band in the world.

Why don't they just pick the best moments from various performances?, then it wil be a compelation dvd, and not a full concert, they use special features to bring in various other clips, and lets hope they do, and with songs not in the Rose Bowl set list.

  10. I thought it was pretty good, interesting shots, good performance.
There was a weird drum echo on the right channel
Was so tired that I had to go to sleep an hour into the show when I knew there wasn't going to be any setlist surprises.
Bono had an interesting stage presence.
  11. The audience was loud, but you couldn't hear it on Youtube. Bonos vocie was mixed HIGH and LOUD in the broadcast, while Larry and Adam was more quiet. They will surely mix this in the proper way before the dvd release. And then Bono will sound better too. Don't worry, they will get the sound right.
