Actually, you might be onto something here, how cool would that be if they released a 2 dvd set liike they normally do, dvd 1 as the gig, and dvd 2 as a compelation of 20 or so performance clips from various gigs, lets have 20 or 22 or whatever from 22 different shows, i think that would be a great idea, then you get the best of everything.

    You could have say :

Breathe from Barcelona, No Line from Milano, Magnificent from Nice, Boots from Dublin etc etc.

  2. Hi! I'm the taper. I only wanna say that I've posted other version a little bit better than that (http://u2start.com/bootlegs/1548 ) in u2eastlink.

    Here you are:

    http://depositfiles.com/es/files/km5i3o4n0

It's the same but with a 320kbps rate and with the level of the master normalized.

One more question: this is the original YT broadcasting. The glitches and small sound failures there are of the own broadcasting, not my blame.

Thanks and sorry for my english, I know it's no good at all...
  3. the traffic from my living room to my room wasn't too bad

i seriously hope they rethink releasing this show. it was alright, but no highlight of the tour. then again, is a DVD supposed to be a highlight of the tour?

Never has been before (ok, maybe Red Rocks).

Are you really that naieve? You think Sydney, Mexico, Boston, Slane and Chicago were note and word perfect?!?

    Post-mastering. That's all I have to say.

The crowd - them they can't do anything about save not show them......

  6. I agree, but nothing weird, people forgot how to enjoy in things like this. So I didn't even bother reading the topic.

  7. YouTube rip? It's better than nothing for the moment if people want it so badly.

ChrisEdge's recording should be good though - always are.

It'll take six months to be released probably. That's more than enough time to fix it up. And anyway they probably had other cameras going as well. I thought it was a great show though I only tuned in at certain points, so I can't say a lot about it. But I liked it apart from the standard setlist. That's to play it safe. Imagine if they cracked out Drowning Man and it sounded off - imagine the bitching!!!

    or Slane.

You'd never have seen it on DVD were it not for the petitions. But that wasn't edited on vocals too much - listen during Kite.
  8. I stayed up (it was midnight here in NYC).Good show.I think the audio was good. The picture was very clear. The crowd were good. But like alot have said, nothing that special. It was a good show.Nothing great.I think the NY and Chicago shows were much better.I wish they would have played Your Blue Room.Bad has been dropped since night one in Chicago.A shame.Missed opportunity.I think they should have tried to start the show a bit earlier,so we could have seen the beautiful mountains.I have seen clips from the European shows that started when the sun was going down.I undertsand that was the summer, this is the fall, but still would have been nice to see. But,I guess that would have been too early .O well.I hope this is not the DVD that will be released.I think the Notre Dame show from Oct 10,2001 was broadcast on the web,and that was not released,Boston was.And Notre Dame was a better gig.Go figure.
