All right, there's been enough bitching and idolizing so far, so I thought we could try and be fair with this tour. So, let's forget things like "Edge didn't read my sign and I drove two hours for him to" and jump into the highlights of 360, ok?

1.- Of course, the youtube stream. Nice attitude towards the fans, both long-timers and new ones.

2.- The killing Ultraviolet version for this tour, from Edge's new arragements to new verses to the laser jacket and hangin' mike.

3.- She's the one at New Jersey.

4.- The Ballad of Ronnie Dew at Dublin.

5.- Michael Jackson snippetry at Angel of Harlem.

6.- Stay at Berlin.

7.- New Year's Day at Poland.

8.- The great intro to Get on your boots, with the 9th simphony humming over the heavy drums.

9.- Live debut of ES and YBR. I think this was also nice gesture to fans who'd been asking for the first for years.

And then, the lowlights:

1.- Rutinary WoWY.

2.- The masks.

3.- Few songs from NLOTH.

Well, what can you add to the lists?

Highlights:

1) The Unforgettable Fire came back, it's called Unforgettable for a reason..

2) The Crazy remix..had to get used to it but love it now
3) The Sheffield broadcast..didn't listen to it as I was in Moldova at the time being but I adore it now, best show of the tour IMO
4) Moment of Surrender, never thought it would be so good live

Lowlights:

1) Tutu as opener to Streets, glad they ditched it later on
2) The somewhat boring midset

3. No Line On The Horizon (especially Barca 1)
4. Edomedo's Barcelona recording
5. Jeremy at Croke 2 saying 'it just ain't like this back in the states' upon watching the whole GA bounce as one
6. Hearing Bad (see number 6 in lows)
7. Attending the opening night of a world tour

Lows

1. Not being as blown away by the band as I imagined I would have
2. Streets losing itself
3. WOWY
4. Walk On Masks
5. Performance that might make the DVD
6. Hearing Bad
7. Bono still hasn't fell during Ultraviolet
8. All the ATYCLB stuff
9. Being burnt out before the end of the second leg
10. U2 in Dublin was a let down

2.- The masks.

I hate those masks so f*cking much. I find them creepy and disrespectful and more than a little objectifying. I'm all for political protest and have participated in a LOT and I totally support Suu Kyi, but this just strikes me wrong. And if I carry on much longer I'll be really off-topic.

So...

My other personal lowlight:

The crappy organisation and lack of communication between the venue staff and U2 crew. It's gonna end in tears if they don't get their shit together soon.

My personal highlights:

1. Seeing Bad live at last!
2. The entirety of Chicago 2, which I think was the best live gig I've ever been to by any band in 25 years of seeing live music.
3. The Claw. What an amazing set this is. You get a completely different concert experience depending on where you see it from and in most spots it's bloody brilliant. I'd totally swap jobs with one of those lighting crew who get winched up into the legs every night.

1. The opener. The song and Larry appearing first.
2. Ultraviolet
3. Unknown Caller
4. Personally, getting GA tickets after being seated for the Vertigo Tour
5. Less preaching
6. The Claws a great stage
7. Crazy Tonight remix
8. The Youtube broadcast
9. Auld/Triangle and One at Croker
10. No Line is so good live!!!!!

Lows

1. Elevation, Pride and WOWY just dont do it for me anymore.
2. No Stand Up Comedy
3. Parts of the Croker crowd being dead where I was standing.
4. The Pasadena Crowd
5. Electrical Storm being dropped immediately
6. Walk On masks
7. The night they left Breathe out completely
8. I missed the sheffield broadcast

Just a couple of each for me

highs:
1. The Claw. (Most amazing thing i've ever seen stagewise. Really served as a fifth band member)
2. Resurrection of old songs (Ultraviolet, Unforgettable Fire, Your Blue Room, Electrical Storm)
3. The New Songs (every song off NLOTH in the live setting was an improvement over the album)
4. Sheffield radio broadcast and Youtube live Rose Bowl broadcast. (awesome taste at home)

Lows:
1. The lack of variation in the set (set was great, but even a great set over and over again is a bit of a disappointment.
2. Choosing US for the dvd again. (i love my country and the people in it, but the Euro crowd deserves to be seen on an official dvd.)

All in all in my opinion a great first two legs of the tour, Hope the 2010 portion is equally as good but different enough to give us something to look forward to!

Highs:

1. Being at Chicago 2- previously mentioned as an AMAZING show, plus the debut of "Your Blue Room"- had me mystified.
2. Moving bridges- EVERYBODY got some form of action, as the band was constantly able to walk from the stage to somewhere right in front of you
3. LARRY BEING ABLE TO NOT ONLY GET UP- BUT RUN AROUND

Lows:

1. Pasadena broadcast filmed for DVD- nice show, alright-setlist, HUGE stadium, but the band was out of gas
2. Not enough rotating songs- every song became far too sticky to the setlist
3. People routinely leaving during MoS

Interesting how most of people who kindly answer this post list more highs than lows. So it was not a bad trip. I guess next year will get better... I'm seriously considering flying Russia.

Absolutely. Have the feeling this songs were specifically designed for a stage, not for an album.

HIGHS:

1. Your Blue Room - sure, it is probably gone for good, but it stands as the most amazing part in my opinion, I was just kind of stunned...they are actually playing Your Blue Room! Something I NEVER thought would happen.

2. The return of Ultraviolet and UF - they should have never gone away

3. Strong new songs - I personally am enjoying the NLOTH songs more than HTDAAB songs - especially the song NLOTH and Unknown Caller - they add a new texture to the set, where the HTDAAB songs felt reminiscent of other U2 songs

LOWS:

1. ATYCLB heavy setlist - I was over hearing Stuck a long time ago, I never liked hearing Elevation (the lyrics really are cringe-worthy), Beautiful Day got less interesting after they ditched the intro used in Europe, In a Little While doesn't interest me and those damn masks killed Walk On, which lacks something that the song used to have when it closed the Elevation tour

2. No Pop or Zooropa songs - with a stage made for songs like Mofo, Lemon, etc, we get nothing from either album. Okay, they played Stay a few times, but why do it acoustic? With a stage like that, go big, bold, futuristic from Zooropa or Pop....not acoustic!

3. A sad realization age is starting to eat into the band's ability to perform, especially Bono. It was only a matter of time. Bono's voice just isn't there anymore in my opinion, leaving to some pretty bad moments, WOWY in particular.

EDIT: gotta add an agreement with Doc32s post, which I agree with word for word:
