1. If they opened with No Line, they could actually keep the same entrance format. Even though NLOTH doesn't start with a catchy drum beat like Breathe, it does have a pretty nifty rhythm that Larry could play a few bars of before Edge began scratching away and walked up the stairs, at which point Bono could follow him and Adam...

    It works in my head...

  2. I think I'm starting to like that snippet even more than Sgt. Peppers in Beautiful Day. That and the Fix You snippet with it together was amazing.
  3. THE LAST SHOW 2009!!!

    ...SPACE ODITY

The only problem i think might be Bono getting his guitar on, if he's trying to get the crowd all worked up jumping around...although, it's not like he plays it much anyway.
I'd love to see how Boots would work as an opener. It's catchy and it'll get the crowd on their feet, even if they don't know the song itself.

Same opinion here...The lyrics and the atmosphere totally fits with Beautiful Day
  6. We have liftoff...well, so much for our predictions. Breathe is first

    I agree with Boots.

You're right about Bono's guitar...never really though about it that way, with the crowd getting all energized by him jumping back and forth like that in the opening notes of Breathe.

  8. Love the In God's Country snippet, not to enamored with Fix You snippet, the verses just don't fit or flow well
