    I agree. I cant believe the lack of variety in these shows. Honestly. The few ballsy things they tried never stuck around.

    Great point.What the hell happened to Your Blue Room ???When they played that at my show (09.23.09) I freaked out.Granted,most around me had no clue.They all asked me.Then, they went back to the "hits".I noticed,if we leave out the new songs,MLK is the ONLY song the band perfom that is not a former single.The "hits " indeed.

    I was at both shows at Giants Stadium n don't get me wrong I had an amazing time but I don't even follow the shows anymore cuz I already know wats coming. No where near as ecclectic as the vertigo show as far as the set goes. I got to see 4 very different shows last tour n it doesn't look like anyone is gonna get that this time around.

    You are 100% right.I also saw both shows at Giants Stadium.We got 7 different songs over the 2 nights.Not bad by U2 standards.But I just attended 2 shows in Philadelphia and Pearl Jam played 59 different songs over the 2 nights.Only 2 were repeats.Thats amazing.I got my moneys worth at half the price that I paid for U2.Dont get me wrong.I had a great time at both shows.But,I for one dont need to see a 250 foot claw.Bono made a comment on a bootleg from Paris(07.12.09)."I hope you like our space station.You paid for it."I thought the comment was funny.But then I thought about it.We actually did pay for it.Big time.
  10. The thing I dislike about U2 and this tour is it's become the "we've got the big claw so we don't have to try as hard" attitude. It's like they think the claw itself is enough and actually making a decent setlist is a lower priority. U2 needs a big kick up the backside.

    You're so wrong. First of all it is a very very good setlist, the problem with it is the lack of rotation, not the songs that are actually being played. Second of all saying they're not trying hard is ludicrous. U2 has always been about putting on a show. They have found a show that they think works, and i agree. For the fans attending one show on the tour, which is the vast vast majority, It's a great set and show. I wish they'd mix it up more too but to cite a lack of effort as the reason is totally off base.
