Ya it's for sure not the only one, but i'll still give the point some validity. toss in In a Little While and that's about it if you don't count new songs and singles

You're so wrong. First of all it is a very very good setlist, the problem with it is the lack of rotation, not the songs that are actually being played. Second of all saying they're not trying hard is ludicrous. U2 has always been about putting on a show. They have found a show that they think works, and i agree. For the fans attending one show on the tour, which is the vast vast majority, It's a great set and show. I wish they'd mix it up more too but to cite a lack of effort as the reason is totally off base.

Ok..you are right.Ultra Violet is the only other song that is a standard in the setlist.Sorry.UTEOTW has been played only a few times. But,you understand my point. It is alot of hits.

yep I can see your point. But the problem is that U2 also have to deal with people who are coming to the show because they wanna hear the hits. If they just play the diehard fans favorites like Mofo, they wouldnt sell out every night.

True.Good point. But,why is it that other bands do it.I already mentioned Pearl Jam.Dave Matthews and of course Bruce. They dont play the same setlist every night. They sell out.I agree it is a very good setlist. But if you are playing the same city for more than one night, there is a good chance that quite a few fans will be attending more than one show.

Bruce can do that because he and his band is far more talented. They also do requests. But it isnt as spectacular as a U2 show. U2's shows have an amazing lightshow and things like that.
Also, I think that it always take some time before songs are really setting in. If you listen to Barca 1 and Rose Bowl it's one hell of a difference. Barca is just 24 songs, Rose Bowl flows.

Ok.IMO I think the Milan 1 show was the best of the tour.Dublin 3,and Berlin for Europe.Im of course biased for my 2 shows here in the big apple, the Chicago shows were great as well.Mind you,I do like the setlist. But I just feel its too safe..all the time now.Your Blue Room got me going, then they dropped it.They did the same thing in Europe with ES.The last few bootlegs I havent even bothered to download.Theres no point. Its the same show, unless you attended one of them, why download the exact same setlist??

In my personal opinion, the Crazy Tonight remix should stay/rotate...and one remix per show is enough for me. I'm personally a much bigger fan of the studio cut.
