  1. Hey, I'm going to buy tickets for next year's show in Toronto, but I'm wondering what kind of tickets I should get. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

    I was thinking about just getting General Admission tickets, as they seem like the best deal, but I'm afraid that because I'm so short (I'm about 5'4 to 5'5) I'll have a horrible view.

    So I have some questions for previous attendees(anyone who went to any show would probably be able to answer at least the first question):

    How high is the stage? Will I be able to see with my height?

    If I'm on the field and I leave to go to the washroom or so, will I have to go to the very back when I return? Or do they perhaps divide up the sections some way?(wishful thinking, although I'm not expecting it) I don't plan to show up until maybe 15 minutes before the show starts(the time on the ticket), so you know I won't be in the front. (but if for some reason they do divide up the sections I might come 2 hours earlier)

    How is the view from the side/back(by that I mean the $97 and $32 sections, i.e. sections 101-108, 135-143, 204-208, 240-244)?

    P.S. If anyone has experience with ticket sales, when they say it's on sale a day, what time of the day do they mean?
  2. I wasn't at the show, but a friend of mine went alone with a GA ticket and managed to swim himself to the front, he said it was awsome and he isnt that tall of a guy !

    I forgot the mentionned he found the ticket in the washrooms juste before the show, so I don't think they divide the field in watever way because he managed to be 7m away from stage ; )

    But comme to Montréal ! Its such a nicer city : )

  3. I was in Toronto last time...

    the stage is 8 feet high about, whether you'll be able to see will really depend mostly on who you get stuck standing behind. Most people are pretty good about letting the shorter people get a lane to see, but it could still be a bit of a pain.

    They don't divide the field up in any way, aside from the group that get's into the inner ring, if you want to really call that a division. If you get there around 5 or even a bit earlier you will end up with a spot where you can see, although the concert i had GA for was a thursday and this time it's on a saturday, so more people could be in the GA line seeing as most are off of work

    As per the view from the back and sides, i thought they were kinda interesting especially considering the lower price. But if it's the only show you're planning on getting to, i would recommend you go for a more traditional view if you're not going to get GA so that you can see the claw in all it's glory.

    Haha, your friend is pretty lucky he was able to do that! Hopefully I'll have some similar luck.

    Montreal is a bit far on the sake of seeing a concert, but I have been there before and it is nicer. I also do not think the person I'm going with would want to go all the way to Montreal just for the show.

    Hopefully if I'm stuck behind tall people, people will be nice enough to let me get a better view, or perhaps I can make my way to the front somehow like Marty's friend! Though there will be two of us, so it could be a bit more difficult.

    Did not realize it was going to be on a Saturday! Hopefully if I show up at around 6 it won't be too bad (if I show up too early I know I'll have to leave for the washroom!)

    It will be the only show I think I'll be going to, but the prices for the seats at the front don't really seem worth it as much as a somewhat bad GA spot, since they are so far. I guess I'll have to go with GA tickets then.

  5. For what it's worth, we had GA for Toronto this leg and while I'm very tall, my friend (Bonoffee, who's lurking around here somewhere) is about your height and so we grabbed awesome spots on the outer rail and had a great view of everything.
