For me, it'll always be the 90s. I love everything they did and can barely fault it. I second the 'wishing I'd been born earlier' comment! It'll be my eternal sadness that I didn't get to see ZooTV live.
But then most people my age wouldn't STILL have the chance to see their fave band live, but I did! Because they're still going, and they're not a greatest hits machine, they produce new and interesting material. I think NLOTH is a complex and worthwhile album, and I like that they didn't go the obvious route and make big hits for the sake of it. I know they seem to regret that now but they can't seem to understand this is the better way. I'd much rather have something you can keep listening to and uncovering new things from. I love U2 now and it does annoy me when people slate them - they're still an excellent band.
