1. (Great song, still one of the best on the album for me, Love it in combination with Moment of Surrender, they should try that out live

I suppose the song can describe whatever you want it to. The girl I was speaking of, she had a very personal story that went along with the song, and it made it resonate a lot better with me. I hadn't really interpreted it that way before - in fact I hadn't paid too much attention to it, because I didn't think I liked it that much. I think other people's interpretations are really interesting, and can help change the way you might look at a song. It doesn't happen that often with me and U2 (I usually have a very firm idea of what songs mean to me) but with NLOTH I've found it much looser and more open.

Which is with pretty much all songs, but certain people dont seem to get that...

  4. Oh yeah, of course. I was trying to be diplomatic. I seem to be quizzed on my opinions all over the place, haha!

  5. Oh, dont worry, I didnt mean you
  6. Has anyone heard if it will become the new single or not?
  7. Does anyone know if backdrop from the Rose Bowl show can be viewed alone? I assume that it the U2.com submissions. Just curious of I made it.
  8. This song is becoming one of my U2 favourites
  9. Same here, I can never decide on this or Breathe as the albums best.

  10. I had that problem too, but now UC is clearly ahead. It just has that haunting, Achtung Baby, old world city at nighttime feel that I love.

The solo is also one of (if not) Edge's best and the song has the best dynamics of any on the album, how it goes from tranquil and ambient to that' searing, lightning ripping apart the sky guitar solo is simply sublime. It's the most epic thing they've written since the late 80s.
