True but there will almost certainly (shall we say 94%) be, particularly given Larry's comments that they want to finish up the leg in Ireland (although he did mention Belfast). Are there (m)any rumours on a gig in Rotterdam etc?

Em hang on.
Starting from the 90's we've had DVD's from Australia, Mexico, Ireland, Milan (sort of), South America and two from the States. It just so happens that the two worst audiences were in the US.
While I won't generalise completely this shouldn't be totally ignored either.

Less people than an outdoor show. Bigger crowd looks like a bigger response. Darker arena means you are not seeing/feeling as much as can be seen/filmed in an outdoor show.
Then there is how something is shot. Many fans I've talked to are not huge fans of Hamish Hamilton's work on the two US DVDs (Boston Elevation and Chicago Vertigo). But then again, didn't he shoot Slane - which was better.
Why better? Could be more than just demographic. I've been to US shows and seen very active crowds. (San Jose, Oakland, Phoenix, Las Vegas...)
I'm not saying US shows are the 'winner'. I'm just saying there are some that are generalizing, based on DVD's that don't always tell the whole story.
