1. email from U2.com: "Dear U2joost,

Next week U2 are set to take part in an historic performance at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate - and we wanted to let our U2.com subscribers know first that you can register for tickets for the chance to see them play live.

As a prelude to the Fall of The Wall celebrations in Berlin, the band will be performing in front of Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate next Thursday, November 5, as part of the 16th MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA's).

Tickets will be free of charge and available by registering on U2.com from 0900 (CET) WEDNESDAY MORNING, 28 October 2009.

Click here to read more and register for tickets.

Tickets, which will take the form of a bar-coded e-ticket, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will be restricted to a maximum of 2 per applicant. Access to the performance will be strictly via one advance, scanned e-ticket per person. Tickets will not be available on the night.

Sounds like it will be a special night.

  3. It's crazy haha
Will they never learn from big events, did they think it would not be such big deal

  4. obviously so eventim is totally unable to manage the amount of hits. error messages all over
  5. When can we expect to receive tickets for Brussel? It's been almost 2 weeks ago since ordering...

  6. agree, havent received my tickets yet.

  7. money was booked off my credit card more than a week ago, still no ticket
  8. I see the Oakland CA show is already sold out. Anyone snag some U.S. tickets yet for the ealry sales?

I managed section 111C row 5 seats. Curious to know what others got who went for seats over GA.

Hard to see but that tiny sliver of a section a bit inside the front leg of the claw at the top of the picture above. Pretty excited about 5th row. Looks like it is just behind the front edge of the stage sort of to the front of the red zone but in the seats.

I was in row 17 and a lot further out for the D.C. show in September, so pretty fired up about these.

Think I will go GA for the Philly show when they go on sale. Anyone got any better info the new Meadowlands Stadium? Listening to the bootleg from this tours Giant stadium and Bono talking about them setting the attendance record and tearing down the stadium I get the feeling U2 likes playing that Venu. Hoping for a great show and last night of the U.S. leg...at least so far.
  9. still no Brussel tix, have send a mail to the distributor, no reaction yet...
    kind of worrying..
