  1. Assuming Songs of Ascent is with us before the tour kicks off again, which songs from NLOTH will make the cut and remain in the set.

    I'm hoping Breathe and NLOTH. Those two songs with a noisy bastard crowd rock lots and lots. Those 2 would do fine with some new stuff and/or more Zooropa and Pop stuff
  2. Breathe, No Line and Boots to be regulars and Magnificent and Crazy Tonight appearing every 3rd show or so. Unknown Caller to be played a few times and SUC to be given a try with no success Moment of Surrender to close quite a few shows (I hope they'll bring 40 back)

    Have to agree. Let's hope the new stuff is more in that direction. Hoping for Moment of Surrender to make some appearances too. Unknown Caller is a typical song they will ditch. Maybe they'll try Stand Up Comedy and White As Show... Magnificent will be played too I'm afraid.
  4. I hope they keep the Crazy Tonight remix! Also hoping for Boots, and No Line.
  5. Im guessing No Line, Moment of Surrender and Magnificent make the cut...and i have no problem with any of those 3 doing so
  6. No Line, Breathe & MoS were the 3 best performed new songs that weren't remixes. Magnificent will stay in although its one of those rare songs that isn't as good live as it is on album.

    Don't see them keeping the karaoke song (UC) which I'll be eternally grateful for. Think they'll be more adventurous in the next few legs and we may see WaS played.
  7. If Songs Of Ascent is finally that semi-acoustic, meditative and atmospheric masterpiece that we were told, I really hope they try White As Snow sometime, it fits perfectly in the acoustic set with Stay (please make Stay a permanent!).

    Of course Breathe will still be there (not as opener -I hope- but as a encore opener or in the rocker middle, or whatever), maybe not every night.
    I think they will get rid of Unknown Caller (maybe they play it in the places they haven't played so far, South America, Oceania,etc) and Get On Your Boots.
    Magnificent will be there (in almost every show, I reckon) and NLOTH and MOS are doubtful. Maybe The latter is more likely to stay...
    Stand Up Comedy and Fez will stay as the only not played songs (maybe they wll give both a try sometime... but I doubt they will become permanents at all).
  8. Hard to tell as we don't know what Songs of Ascent will sound like. If it is an ambient album, I agree with Likeasong, White As Snow would fit. Being Born too. I still think they could rework that one into a bitching live song.

    As for the other ones, the absence of NLOTH would be a huge letdown for me, though Magnificent and Get On Your Boots are probably more likely to be there. Don't know about MOS, maybe in a different spot, but I'm not convinced it would work as well. A segue from MOS to Streets, a la Bad Elevation Tour, could be great. Replace Crazy Tonight Remix by Mofo or Discothèque.

    Magnificent; single, they will keep playing this one
    Get On Your Boots; a la All Because Of You..nope
    Breathe; it will either go or get rotated
    No Line On The Horizon; Stay
    Unknown Caller; it will go but become a regular again in South America
    Moment Of Surrender: It becomes a single, dont see it going anytime soon.
  10. They will get rid of the Crazy remix. I liked it... but they wont keep it. Dont wanna hear it anymore too.

    I think Breathe will be dropped. Also think that Boots might see its early end when SOA is released.

    Breathe - doesnt work as a rock song for me, ditch it! And i think they will cuz its really weak live
    NLOTH - Best song they´ve done in decade, play it every night! Forever.
    Magnificent - I think they will keep playin this one but i dont really enjoy it live
    Boots - they will play it, only song the general audience actually know
    Crazy - they will play Mofo instead
    Unknown Caller - even thou i like it i wont mind not playin it
    MOS - they will play it cuz its the new single, it will be in the same spot as well
