1. No way it would ever happen, but still my ideal for a closer - Zooropa.

Realistically - I think No Line would work. I've always preferred more upbeat closers. Walk On during Elevation Tour and Vertigo in the Vertigo Tour are prime examples. They leave you feeling more upbeat as you're walking away from the gig.
  2. They should close with Fez-Being Born. The last chord at the end of the song would be a perfect closer. I totally agree about upbeat show closers... All the best concerts I've seen have closed with them.
  3. I know I've said I love a big closer, but if there was ever a 'slowie' that should end a show I've just thought of....If You Wear That Velvet Dress.

    Oh Yeah Baby!

I stand corrected. THAT would make for an excellent show closer.
  5. With or Without You? Its classic enough and if it is last maybe bono and the boys will put more into it?

  6. Especially with the "Shine" and "Love Will Tear Us Apart" snippets
  7. what about love rescue me??????
  8. I think Streets would be a good closer.

Not only is the highlight of the live experience but I think a loop of the intro/outro segment playing as the band walked off and the house lights coming on would be a fitting climax

it would be too cool actually. the two concerts i went i got pretty excited about it and if the concert was over i would be left with that taste of want some more in my mouth... i like it in the end of the main set... before one is nice ;p

I just started thinking about this, and I think Zooropa would work beautifully as a closer. Either that, or an encore opener- in full form, too- not the shorter version played 3 times on ZooTV. That's why I think it might work just as well as an encore opener...all that electronic stuff could be paired with a cool intro video.
