1. Mariah Carey leading the bunch by far
  2. Nah Phish are now
  3. Voted
  4. It was not Mariah Carey, Rob surely misunderstood the bars and the artist names.

    Fuck, U2 has 0'02%..

  5. I indeed did. But 0.02 %....
  6. Now I understand U2 is never going to win this. In fact, I am pretty sure that the leading one at the moment (Concert for NYC, 2001) will win and does deserve to do so. But let's try and give U2 some credibility.

U2 currently only have 0.0189% of the vote....

    this compares to...

    Christina Aguilera (12.54%)
    Jonas Brothers (6.71%)
    Dixie Chicks (1.31%)

Im not saying that there aren't other bands that deserve to beat U2 but seriously... these three?? Get your vote on!

Saw this on your other thread- I only half understand why they closed that thread...this one was about them winning for the 90's, and yours was about them for the 00's. I guess both could be consolidated here.

But yeah, they'll never win. I can see the Jonas Brothers (unjustly) beating them, but Christina Aguilera? The Dixie Chicks? FOR REAL? The only justified choice I could see for beating them would be Michael Jackson- those gigs were huge, as it was his "This Is It" farewell tour.

  8. Who the hell is Luther Vandross? He's coming second

  9. Soul-type singer, black, sappy love songs...he's got "a really great voice".
  10. What I find remarkable is that U2's live demand is high enough that it requires 7 or 8 nights at MSG through the course of the Vertigo Tour, and they won't even come close to winning. Some of those acts probably didn't even sell the venue out for one night.

  11. You're not serious? Not about being second, but about who is Luther Vandross? Read a few decent articles on music - not Rolling Stone or NME.

    Jonas Brothers (6.71%)

    Hahahahaa - 12-year-olds rejoice!

This Is It was at the O2 wasn't it? Bad (the best tour of his) was at MSG - no lip-synching, no half-arsed songs and generally a true live show where he seemed interest and before the crap of the 90s. Not the over-rehearsed bullshit of the 90s and the 2000s. Jonas Brothers - a band that's been together less than a quarter of how long U2 have been together and they're on six percent - I smell a bit of fangirl lovin'!
