1. For the off-topic "gay" comment:
Every rock star at least has a microscopic bit of gay in them. Compare them to normal people, it's really clear imo.

    For the original topic:
Bring it back for 2010, please. Keep the LED suit on during the entire show, find a new jacket for the encore. That with the eye shadow and some new, huge, pink shades (like the Vertigo tour ones, but more like the modern Armani models). Just me though.

Not only rude (and 12 kinds of stupid) but if he thinks wearing eye-makeup is what makes one gay, I've got some news that may surprise him.

FWIW, I like guyliner, but honestly, Bono's a little old for it now.
  3. I'm not saying Bono is gay, but he does show some weird signs sometimes, like kissing Clayton on the lips in the ZooTV stockholm video, or always kissing him or Edge on the cheek and stuff. Sometimes i find it kind of weird, but at the same time, it's just how he is i guess.
  4. I wish we had a facepalm smilie or the like...

With all due respect, I think you are only digging the hole deeper.

In some cultures, both men greet men and women meet women with a kiss on the cheek. Does that make them gay?

    No.
  6. I think Bono did that to provoke, in a positive way
  7. It's just cool as hell
I challenge all men here to try it for one day, you'll all love it
  8. Well, I spent a while writing a post about how U2 should experiment with their looks and then deleted all I had written, because I realised that U2 know how to dress. Sometimes I don't like their clothes, but they usually look cool. Especially Larry can't spoil anything with his white T-shirts. Maybe he could try some shirts, too. Adam looks great in short-sleeved T-shirts, I prefer him wearing those. The Edge always wears a lovely shirt. I don't like some of Bono's jackets, though. And I don't mind him wearing an eyeliner. If he put on as much make up as he did when he dressed up like MacPhisto, now that would be not cool anymore.

I particularly love their clothes in this photo:
