So it's yet another album suffering from the current 'loudness wars'? The whole thing sounds way too harsh even if you turn the bass off or put the treble down. They may as well have got Brendan O'Brien (recent Bruce Springsteen albums) or Rick Rubin in to mix and master the album - it would have sounded just as good. It's a pity...great songs ruined by crap production.

Yup, the interferencers were complaining about the mastering back in Feb/March. It seems to be better than HTDAAB but still too compressed for some; especially on tracks like GOYB, NLOTH and IGCIIFGCT.
