    Im hopeful that Lincoln Financial Field and New Meadowlands Stadium will blow my socks off next July though!

    Are you going??..I will be at both shows.NY and Philly are great cities to see the band.

  4. Thats great man.There is a sweet bar across from Lincoln Field,McFaddens Pub.Its attatched to Citizens Bank Field ,where the Phillies play baseball.You cant miss it.That is a great spot to have a pint or 2 before the gig.Food is good..so are the women.Have fun.

"got it".The R&H tunes from Tempe are great.I dont know why people get so bent out of shape because I dare mention the band love playing here.Just accept it...Jeez

    But that's maybe logical then, as New York is officially New Amsterdam (do we still have owning rights?)

  7. What a thread this has become. No one on the world can compare the US crowd to the European crowd, besides U2 themselves. I think it's just hit or miss. When an American attends a European show with a lame crowd it's likely that he'd not do it again. Any European who watches US-DVD's with lame crowds might not go overseas just because he thinks the DVD-crowds are representative for the whole American audience. That isn't fair. We simply can not compare..

    Well said.As I mentioned ,the U.K. crowd was weak for Bruce at Glastonbury this year.That was a real shock to me.I have attended Glastonbury (2003) and I have seen Radiohead,Pearl Jam and Oasis in London,I know first hand the Brits are wild.They love their pints and bands.But if I didnt know any better,after seeing the way they were from a DVD of Glastonbury 2009 ,during Bruce's set,I would think the U.K. audience suck.You are right when you say you can not judge a whole country from 1 or 2 dvd's.

    Ha Ha.Thats a good one.I love the beer New Amsterdam as well from upstate New York.LOL.They do seem to love playing Amsterdam.No question.The bootleg I have from the show on 07.20.09 is great.Crowd are just wild.I just wish we had official releases from their shows, so we could REALLY hear the audience.

    I'm totally willing to take one for the team and do some comparison testing as an impartial Australian fan. Now I just need someone to fund my attendance at some UK gigs. You all would be up for that, right? In the interests of science?

    I won't support people who try to tackle my ''no-one can compare"-theory. Haha, if I had the money I'd sent out some of our members including myself all over the world to attend a gig.
