Hi,

i found my Live-Pogues CD from The Brixton Accademy 2001. I'm very happy! Does anyone here remember the Pogues? I'm a Shane MacGowan Fan since i was a little boy, 15 years old (about now 22 years!). It's a shame that Shane and the Band are doing no new Stuff. What do you think?

This was a really fantastic band. I miss them too much. One time in the 90's the band was in my Hometown "Kiel-Germany". But without Shane. Pogues without Shane - a shame. I'm listening now to "Rainy Night In Soho" Fantastic!!!

I was just listening to Rum, Sodomy and the Lash last week.

Amusing semi-related factoid: there's a pub in Chicago called 'Pogue Mahone's'. I'm fairly certain they didn't know what that meant when they named it.
