July or September - it'll happen then if it's gonna happen.

  3. September would be very bad timing for me. I have to be in the US next September. I heard November, which purely out of self-interest, would be much better for me.

Fuck, I'd kill for just a confirmation that they will definitely tour here.
Some dates would be ideal though.

  5. They WILL, stop worrying!! If they are going to do two shows in a lost Denmark city, how could they avoid a whole continent where at least 5 sold outs are sure? No way, no way. Don't worry

  6. Yeah. I'm not holding my breath. I have kind of a bad feeling about the southern hemisphere leg. Hope I'm wrong.
  7. I´d love just any confirmation! However, it would be 20 million times better if it was april/march because november is too close to Vestibular in Brazil, the test that decides whether you get in or you don´t in university...

Also, if they are coming when U2chile.com says, it is weird because Paul McCartney will be in Rio de Janeiro on the 16th of april and is Sao Paulo in the 18th, so isn´t there a logistic problem if the U2 shows in Sao Paulo are in 11 and 12 of april and in Rio they are in the 15th? Weird rumour... I was all hyped up and it seems false now...
  8. This morning on the radio some concert promoter from Ottawa said there's a chance that they'll play a concert here. He siad they'll probably play at our venue called Lansdowne Park, where there's a small outdoor staduium that used to be used for CFL games. I doubt there's any truth to this, seeing as how half the seats were demolished last year beause of safety issues, and also because it's super small. Although The Rolling Stones played there in 2005 I believe, adding extra seats to accomodate a larger audience (U2 could do this too I suppose). There's also the idea that they'd play the annual blues fest here, but I doubt it. I pretty much doubt U2 would come here at all, they only came to Ottawa in 2005 beause Paul Martin (our prime minister at the time) asked them to (lol). If anyone finds anything more about this, can you post it here to let me know? It would be awesome if they came to my hometown.

Oh my god I nearly had a heart attack when you said Lansdowne Park I thought you said Lansdowne Road as in the new stadium in Dublin If they do come back I hope they dont do their gigs there though its a bit small.

i think it could work, the new stadiums around 55,000-60,000 right?, thats about the average stadium size for this years European leg, and remember U2 have kinda pissed off the locals around Croke
  11. I came onto this interview today from an RT from @atU2 in twitter.
Bono is interviewed after the "NIKE: LACE UP (RED)" campaign the other day.
he's interviewed by a Mexican correspondant of FOX and in the last few seconds he asks Bono if the Band will be going to MEXICO,
    Bono: YES
    FOX: when???
Bono: I can't say, I'd have to kill you
Bono: all I can say is, keep the bed warm...

    nice one B-man...

    here's the link (poor source):
