How do you know they are more musically talented? You don't and that's crap.

Think about it - talent comes in many guises and forms. Just because you see what the media and the shitstream likes to show, how do you know there's not something she does very well? For her target group Taylor Swift does wonderfully. For her target group Lady Gaga does very well. No way can you compare two very different acts (electropop - country pop) as being more talented. It's like comparing Sebastian Bach to Pink Floyd - while they're both very good in what they do, how do you know Bach doesn't do experimental well, and Pink Floyd does hard rock very well?

Not everyone thinks U2 are overly talented you know. In fact, a lot of people hate them. Is that based off Bono or their musical skills of the last ten years or thirty years? I don't know. Compare Bon Scott to Brian Johnson - who is more talented? We don't know - Bon died before his time and Brian Johnson, some might call him past his time. Lady Gaga might be around two years from now and Taylor may have decided to go get a law-degree and call the music making a day. So who is more talented? As time goes on, things change, trends change, everything changes. Figure that one.

Also has a brilliant chord progression in the verses (from what I heard of it on the radio today). She probably deserves the Grammy nod, even though I dislike her and everything she stands for.

Taylor Swift doesn't even write her songs by herself, and they all pretty much like sound like a cross between Shania Twain and all the other tween pop out there.

If she wasn't tall, blond and pretty ( or considered a" role model&quot you can bet she wouldn't be as sucessfull or nominated for any Grammys
