1. ...'cos it's a bittersweet symphony this li-ife...
  2. Classic FM. Couldn't say what, but it's brilliant music to work to - no words, no problem

  3. I salute you sir.

EDIT - what's this about Coldplay and The Verve and Live8? I'm intrigued...

  4. Have you ever heard the mashup of that and Jay-Z's "Dirt Off Your Shoulder"? I'm not much for rap music- at all- but there's something about a catchy beat like Jay-Z's, without all the thumping bass in the background, and instead crisp violins...it's very interesting, and I like it quite a bit.

  5. If I remember correctly, Richard Ashcroft of The Verve joined Coldplay's set at Live8 and they all played Bittersweet Symphony together. It was a very, very pleasant surprise- I remember watching that day, and it was one of my favorite moments.

Ahh, cheers mate - found it on YouTube, liking it.

  7. I still laugh when I think about that. It's not Mick singing - but it's one of their biggest hits!!!

Michael Jackson - Butterflies / Invincible (smooth-as-butter R&B, love it.)
  8. One (live from Modena '95, at Pavarotti & friends concert)

my very own personal favorite version of this song

  9. Mine too

One Tree Hill - Auckland, 2006-11-24

  10. That really is a brilliant version. I love it.

I'm listening to 'The Barber's Son' - Jack Ladder.
