1. Seems like you know a lot of that band. Care to share your opinion, some clips and some general info maybe?

Now it looks like spam, which we dont tolerate.

I do indeed know them a bit, but I'm simply sharing the love about Dublin's Power of Dreams... as youngsters in the early 90s they arguably shaped Achtung Baby after they sent Bono some punk/alternative records after he sent them a cake

    Have a listen to them!

    Pete x

  3. They were a great band.

Unfortunately got caught up in the "next U2" hype which seemed to ruin the chances of any Irish band around that time (A House, Cactus World News etc.)
  4. There was a little truth in that... but POD were also slightly 'shoegaze' too

  5. I am sure that I saw them support the Wonder Stuff or such like many moons ago, or maybe headling somewhere small in their own right. Love Imigrants, Emigrants and Me - a truely great album. Surprised and pleased to see that they are still going

Thanks for the tour dates, but unfortunately I live in Kenya now and it's a bit far to travel. However, like I said made my day to hear they are still playing

  8. THEY'RE AMAZING!
  9. I'm checking out their MySpace page and I really like what I'm hearing at the moment...
