To be honest, no one reads other people's posts, people just post a list of songs over and over...You go into that thread, and all you see is a 1000 lists. I also can't stand topics like "what are you listening to right now?". Seems like all those topics are just a chance for people to get their post counts up. Kinda lame...What happened to the "active threads" all being about something worthwhile to talk about?

With all due respect I disagree. Everyone is different and just because u hate these threads I enjoy them. I actually discovered new music going through the "wat r u listening......." thread and also greatly enjoy reading peoples dream setlists. Maybe since this is the only website I post on but I love reading everyones opinions whether positive, negative or just plain stupid it's all interesting to me. Once again just my opinion ( something some people forget, not fact)

I'm not directing this at you, just commenting in general. Posts don't appear magically from somewhere for all of us to react to. If you want to read something worthwhile here, or you're frustrated with whatever content you read, post something that you deem worthwhile to discuss. It's a two-way street.

You certainly also have the choice to just ignore the posts you don't like or don't find worthwhile to respond to.
  3. lol @ this topic

I realize that, but the basis of this topic was mainly that people that used to spend a lot of time here don't anymore because they don't find it as interesting. I'm not one of those forum people with 16000 posts here, but I still comment sometimes when I feel like it. And I'm not going to go digging through stupid Taylor Swift threads or Dream Setlist threads to start talking about something "I deem worthwhile".
  5. "Fuck U2. worlds worst band. fuck them. all theyre doing is copying coldplay! stupid old fags" said my friend at school. My reply was "Ok"

Took the words right out of my mouth--err...keyboard. Gotta give some to get some.
  7. Everyone has the right to an opinion. Even a stupid one. You can either be "ignorant" and tell them they're stupid and argue your point, or be an adult and pretend you give a damn. Or you can put up a topic like this and let people see the irony in all of this.

For those who can't see it right away, I'll spell it out to you:

YOU. CAN'T. HAVE. A. BITCHING. TOPIC. BECAUSE. EVERYONE. BITCHES. ABOUT. EVERYTHING.

    ...

Obviously people will bitch, moan, complain. Heck even I do it. That's a part of life. In fact, if you don't argue your opinions and such, that only makes you less of a person, but who am I to judge? Heck you could call me a hypocrite until you're blue in the face, and you would be probably right, even though I'd be calling any arguer of that claim one themself. Human nature folks, it's all human nature.

For those who actually took this topic seriously, welcome to the surface.
  8. Thought the senseless topics got at a maximum with Taylor Swift, but this is even better. A topic about bitching to bitch the fact that most of us are bitching.

A good forum represents the world..I dare to say we are a good forum as we represent the world. We have all sorts of maniacs here, including myself.

Should have said, "What staunch features you have, have your mother and Adam Clayton ever met?"
