    Vox Pathifinder is a great sounding amp and the best $100.00 I ever spent. Remarkably warm for a solid state amp.

    Other than that, $500.00 will get you a Vox AC15CC. You could upgrade the speaker later to a Celestion Blue and get that much better of a tone. (As has been the case with my AC15CC)

    Do you just use that 15W straight out, or do you use the speaker out and plug it into a PA or something?

    I've always just been reluctant to use smaller powered amps because I figured if any band I was ever involved in was playing a live show, a bigger amp would be more ideal for stage purposes and for better, fuller sound.

    Then again, I know almost nothing about amps.

    I got a Pathfinder on your recommendation

    Do you use the onboard distortion or have it set at a clean tone and use the M13's distortion effects instead?

    Thanks! It's not really harder than guitar, it is pretty much the same. You just have to practise a bit to get good at it.

    I run the Pathfinder fairly clean and 'dirty' things up with effects.
  7. Adam Clayton signature bass might be coming closer to it's fruition.

  8. Lovely basses they are, I once played a low-medium Warwick and its warmness and deep sound were amazing, and nevertheless it wasn't excesively soft at all, it had power and punch. Lovely. If I ever play(ed) bass guitar, I'd get a WW for sure


  9. Ah, good that makes it simpler, rather than having to tweak both the M13 and the amp
