  4. Did you finally know most of the songs, Gerard? I recall that this were the concerts where they were about to play some oldies and less known songs, weren't they?

  5. I saw these guys were playing Newcastle town hall a few weeks back, considered checking it but the tickets werearound £40 so I gave it a miss, might do if they played the arena next time they do a big tour

    I knew most of it and the songs I didn't know sounded great. The show was just too slow though, barely any drums in the first hour of the show. I'll go see their 'standard' gig in the summer.

    Great, I'm glad you had a good time. Anyway, a semi-acoustic show sounds very right to my ears

    Did they play the CCC Trilogy (Chocolate, Crack the shutters and Chasing Cars) ??

    They did. Sounded completely different though.

    Any pics, by the way? How was the stage, small and simple? If I recall right the venue was some kind of theatre or auditorium, wasn't it... Not more than 3'000 people in attendance I guess.
