1. Slane on CD's all you need really. (yes, im watching it now).

  2. Slane and Sydney were released to the fanclub only on cd.A band as great as U2 are live, its really strange and a shame, that they release NOTHING live on cd.We get 1 dvd per tour. Then we have to get an audio rip of the show.If it werent for this site,I would have only the 2 aforementioned shows on cd.Whats U2's problem with releasing shows on cd ???????? PJ go to the other extreme, and release every show live.Wish U2 did that.

It's because DVD's give more of the experience of going to a U2 concert.

  4. isnt that paddies out of control ? need to check the date .... actually bought that bootleg on cd long time ago ...
  5. Thought I'd ask this question on this post as it relates to mixed live CD's.

What's a good (but not overly ellborate) program to use if I want to splice together songs from different concerts. For example, I have audio versions of my two Elevation Tour DVD's that I'd like to put on a single compilation (You might recall, as good as the Slane show was, it lacks Bad, Stay, The Fly, In A Little While, and I WIll Follow - which the Boston show includes). I've tried doing this using itunes to edit the start/end times of the songs but the segues between the tracks really aren't very good in many cases. Any suggestions?

  6. True. But why cant they release an actual live cd? Its strange really.Almost as if they are against it or something. They have been around for 30 years, they are a great live band, but they have 1 live E.P from 1983.1 half live and half studio release from 1988,and thats it.Slane and Sydney were released to only the fanclub.Other bands release numerous live DVD's and CD's.Very frustrating, as a diehard of the band, to have to download audio rips from DVD releases.

  7. Sunday Bloody Sunday, from Rattle and Hum...

    8 November, 1987
    McNichols Arena
    Denver, CO
  8. And is there any way to get this on U2start, split into a few .rar files? It would be QUITE time consuming to download every show this features, and then deal with space issues on my compy as to whether or not I'd keep each whole show...
  9. i used a program called "Virtual DJ" to mix sum of the songs for this cd, its pretty good imo.
  10. So is there anyway to download the package?

  11. are you asking about downloading virtual dj as a package, or downloading this set list as a package, if ur after the show then ill try and upload it once my pc is all fixed up.l'm on the laptop still and that has no music on it
