1. Got a mail from U2.com today:

    "Dear U2Joost,

    The wait is over.

We now have exclusive first details of the special remix album the band have put together for subscribers.

It's called 'Artificial Horizon' and it features 13 stunning U2 remixes including several never previously released.

Just to give you a taster, we can reveal that the tracklisting includes Trent Reznor's remix of Vertigo, Jackknife Lee's remix of Fast Cars and David Holmes's remix of Beautiful Day. Then there are mesmerising remixes of Staring At The Sun, City of Blinding Lights, and If God Will Send His Angels....

We'll be posting full details of the album on the site in the next few days. But you'll be the first to get it - and this limited edition release CD won't be in the shops.

best wishes for the holiday season
    from all at U2.Com. "

So are we getting excited already?
I think that a new version of IGWSHA is the news that gets me excited (well, a bit.. )
  2. I'm not a member, but from what I understand most of these have been leaked through either simple fan sharnig or the ever-many Fruitlegs. A hard copy will still be a great collector's item, meaning I'll be desperately searching for one on eBay and the likes...

Do I think it's a BAD gift for your subscribers? No. Lot of fan sites don't give gifts anyway, so I'd be happy to be getting anything more than a presale code if I were a member. But seeing as how remixes of Magnificent were released officially, "Lemon" was a gift years back, etc....It's getting repetitive. Or maybe I'm wrong.

ZooTV always told us- right before Numb- "You can't sell the same thing to the same old crowd forever!"
  3. Does anyone know whether this CD has the Mofo Underworld Remix? Now that's something I've been looking for for years!
