1. (sshhh) I can't scream in excitement, I'm at the office!!

I really hope this comes true!!

  2. I promised a friend who lives in Brazil (and happens to love U2 as well) that if our boys would indeed come to Sao Paolo, I'd take all my savings for the flight to see U2 in Sao Paolo with her

but April is quite soon, really.... might very well be too soon for me

    You can do it friend

And the cost of life here isn't expensive, so I think getting the airline tickets is the more difficult thing to do

  4. news of south american shows!

in accordance with the fan club "u2chile.net", that have contacts with the Universal, U2 to announce the dates in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Mexico, lacks only the constructor who is remodelling the "estádio nacional do Chile", to give a OK of when the reforms they will be concluded.

According to site of the constructor, the workmanships of modernization of the stadium are foreseen to finish day 3 of March. It only lacks this to define if shows will be in April or May.

here in Brazil, the press is all hour speaking of the coming of the band in April!

The main radios and periodicals are giving as certain.

It is good for remembering that shows in Latin America, the U2 normally announces on of the hour.
  5. Although it's impossible for me to attend a South AMerican show I would be so happy to see this happen. Should give a brilliant TV broadcast. And that insane crowd defenitely deserves a leg

    +1

    SA crowds =
  7. Mothers Of The Disappeared maybe? Oh yes.
  8. These versions of Mothers of the Disappeared from Popmart Santiago and Buenos Aires Vertigo are just... amazing.
This is a reason that could justify 360 in Latin America! (Not the only one of course!)
  9. I just checked, Paul in´t confirmed here, so it might very well be possible!

I hope it´s in April due to finals/ vestibular in November. Also the show in Maracanã would be my mom´s bday and I´d love to give her this gift! A trip to Rio and a U2 concert to the person that got me into them.

In Fantastico Bono said they will come but they can´t tell the dates. Like our friend said, things here usually are announced in the nick of time. Iron Maiden announced in January they´d come in March this year. RH announced they´d come in January for a concert in March. Also Metallica announced in November 30th they´d come January 30th. So until february there´s hope.

I´ll be so fortunate If they come an I get tix! Hope o be able to say: "hey, got to see u2 in rio, in sao paulo and miami (just got tix from santa for 2010) for 360 and saw them for vertigo twice in chicago!" I´ll just need to go to europe now
  10. another interesting information, is that from the half of the year, some Brazilian stadiums closes! they close for reforms to "world cup 2014".

Maracanã, in rio de janeiro, for example, closes in September, what it becomes impossible the show in the end of 2010, as was speculated previously.
  11. true, very true... they can still use sao januario in rio and pacaembu in sao paulo, but both are a lot smaller (40,000)
