1. The tribute was in London before they cancelled it!
I know most of you are not interested in this topic, however I was just asking your help. If you wrote some "help" post for Bono and the U2,I would sign it immediately!!!
I think we should be more in agreement with each other....

I agree with you But fact is that not everyone here is a MJ fan.

I will sign the petition though

  3. True. I signed it though

Hey...I never disagreed with it, it just needs better organisation is all. Have you asked on the other MJ fan boards if they are interested?

And it needs better performers. I don't see Akon and Chris Brown as performers who really know much about MJ apart from terrible Thriller dances and second-rate leaked demos or having a knack for messing up classic songs. It needs some talent too who actually know what MJ is about...the four brothers would be great and so would Liza Minelli, Seidah Garrett and Lisa Dean.

Not trying to cut it down and it'd be nice to see it go ahead but at this point it seems like it won't go anywhere.

We are disappointed and really, really sad for this. For other great dead artists tributes and commemorations were organised, and were a real success. Why not for Michael, who was one of the most appreciated artists in the world?

You're not a part of This Is Not It, are you?

Has anyone seen commercials for that new reality show that's coming out that's like about the other jackson brothers? It makes me sick how they're exploiting MJ's death as much as they can. First a stupid TV show, and now a concert. If they really wanted to make the tribute concert like, a tribute, they'd give all the money made to a charity that micheal worked with.

I haven't but I can only guess it's gonna end up as bad as 2300 Jackson Street, if not worse. Which sucked worse than that horrible Paul McCartney duet. Fuck me, I've never heard something so terribly crap by him. Oh wait...about eight songs from Invincible.

I didn't like the fact a 25-year-old demo was taken and added some fancy background music to it, and then have the brothers shoving their lame backing vocals on it. So they really are trying to wring as much money as they can before their fame ends. Jermaine is the real one to watch out for.

Of course, unfortunately for most people it will be only for money...but for the fans it would be a wonderful opportunity to remember him with true love!

I remember him with the records he made, not by a tribute show where others are trying to cover his songs and generally doing a poor job. It won't be Thriller or any 80s album, that's for sure. Jermaine's cover of Smile, anyone? Didn't think so.

The guy thought he wrote Man In The Mirror in his fucking wishing tree!!! Nah, every MJ fan knows he didn't write the song.

  6. He settled out of court for the first trial - the idea to settle was, I believe, the parents ot the "victim" and the second trial found him INNOCENT. He may have been a freak, but there really isnt any proof of molestation........

  7. And it hasnt to do anything with his music.

Im not a big fan of MJ but his music is definitely impressive!
  8. "....What's the big deal - plenty of child molesters out there who can carry a tune. Gary Glitter anyone? " ...and other quotes....

People please: this is becoming somewhat tasteless.
