NLOTH is definitely not as good as the amount of time spent on it would indicate (just look at Zooropa which took 2 months in comparision)

And we haven't even had a single proper b-side, so I don't think they been working too hard - well at least not at writing music.

Unfortunately everything is driven from singles and songs on ITunes and other music purchasing sites. I really just want to see U2 put together a group of great songs and not really worry about a feeling or texture. Take the Rubin/Kingdom/New recording sessions and take all the best songs and put them together. I think if the band does this they will be back on top again (even though I really enjoy NLOTH).
