    The way everyone goes on about there expectations of what they want as the new U2 album, we'd end up with another passengers style record,and i never here anyone saying how great that is!!! DO YOU ? not for me i'm afraid!!! i'd rather here anthems ,in the style of Beautiful day, and if you take the time to sit back and really listen to No Line On The Horizon it's not a safe album by any length.

  4. I think the boys should leave the "next album needs to be our best ever" mindset behind and just wander into an album. I'd prefer a Zooropa or Passengers style album next...I love NLOTH much more than HTDAAB, but it still had a few "trying too hard" songs. I'd prefer them to chill out and just make something and not be so obsessed.

    And, for the record (to the previous post)...Passengers is AMAZING. So count me as another voice that will say that often.
  5. With Winter out, I'm very excited for the new album! I can't wait! And I feel it's gonna be great!

    I'll wait patiently to be surprised by what it's gonna be like!
  6. Hey i want it to be the best album they've ever done and i dont think they can manage that with some ambient meditative rock. They need songs like BD, Vertigo, Elevation, No Line On The Horizon and three or four Moments of Surrender. They already got Winter which is good. But honestly Kindom is going to suck on the record.

  8. I agree with you on this one! Kingdom sounds like a very cool song. What we need is great music, not necessarily pop-songs.

    BD, Vertigo and Elevation are great music. Just because other ppl like them doesnt mean they are bad or pop-songs...

    But we don't need songs we already have... we need new songs and Kingdom doesn't sounds like anything they've ever done... so it is very promising. And I think Kingdom is great song.
