just to confirm...

Wembley 14th and 15th will be a double dvd. (two dvd5 discs in one case)
The 14th will contain the whole show from that day.
The 15th will contain the tracks played on the radio2 broadcast, also using this audio.
The 15th will also contain some extra footage and other nice features.

Rose bowl will also be released at the same time as the above.
only the Rose bowl and 15th will contain 5.1 and stereo soundtracks.
All three DVD`s contain the footage and audio from the actual show (u2`ubed was a combination of footage)

both projects will be ready after the New Year....

"how does it look?",,,,,,,,,the 14th looks very good, i mentioned in an earlier thread that it contained alot of cam postions, well we have increased them!....most songs now have at least 8 angles, some like unforgettable fire and UV contain nearly 20!!!!...the disc looks very good...just need to get the best from the audio mix.
The rose bowl dvd is much cleaner now, audio errors from the original broadcast have been removed...image quality also very good.
work on the 15th has started, this is our only delay...but with only a handful of songs to edit this should not take much time.

thanks for all your comments...and i`ve got to say....your gonna love these DVD`s...we feel we have captured the energy of U2 live with these edits...

As Jay said, you are an absolute LEGEND Gen, your hard work making up these supurb DVD's is really appreciated, just cannot wait for the new year, order the DVD's and sit down and watch them.

Watched U2Ubed 1 again yesterday, with my girlfriend (not U2-fan but she doesn't hate them or such) and we both enjoyed it. Great mix of the EU-leg for sure.

work is nearly complete with this DVD, just need to sort the menu`s and some small edits...will be ready 10th Jan 2010.

not as heavy with the edits as in the 14th DVD, but still a very good watch!...have rendered the 1st edit, audio mixed...just have to do the 5.1 mix and menu`s for this DVD, if i have time i`ll include some more angles, have to say `end of the world` is awsome!...and `with or without you` is a joy!...i enjoyed making the 15th very much...was a good performance by the band, radio play does not really capture the depth, adding video does!..i`m sure you guys will love this one....will be ready 10th Jan 2010.

(taking the tube from the underground railway system in London!!)
if a cover is made please could you use the title and credit all the guys who helped bring these DVD` s together, both audio and visuals were a big help...you know who you are!
track listing is as the full show for the 14th...and the edited radio broadcast tracks for the 15th...i`ll give you the full track listings when i have time but the above is a guide.
14th has a stereo soundtrack and has also been dubbed with extra crowd noise.
15th has stereo and dolby 5.1...we also have a plan to mix a DTS track for this DVD.

14th will contain some bonus tracks played on the tour but not at wembley, electrical storm, your blue room and bad.
the 15th will contain various extras including video remixes and other material.

both DVD`s will contain full chapter and menu systems for access and navigation.
only the DVD will be printed, the cover will be avaliable for download.

the cost of this 2 set DVD will be £2.75 inc postage/packaging, case and contents.(buyers outside the UK will be a little more due to postage costs)
free copies will be sent to the guys who helped out and the admin here for upload and distribution on a free basis.
both DVD`s will be DVD5....the edits will be rendered at DVD9 quality and them compressed after, anyone wishing for the DVD9 versions (slightly higher quality) will need to contact me.

Rose Bowl Youtube DVD
this DVD is finished....will be released 17th January 2010.
i`ll use another thread to give the full details of this DVD nearer the release time.
why later?...because i need to finish the other two...cant be editing and orders at the same time!

so MIND THE GAP between the train and the plaform ;-)

Gotta love that city

and was impressed by how smooth they sent 90.000 people back into the tube after the gig.

I also wonder whether STU can come up with another little beauty (understatement of the year when looking at his artwork)!
Maybe U2sbiggestfan can also create a gem, so everyone can have it their way ;-)

All in all I think that this is proof that a fan based community can really add something, and make something happen from an idea to something SWEET.
What dedication can't do..GREAT STUFF.
