What does everybody think of this? I'm usually not a fan of unofficial remixes, but I like this one.

I'm with you, the DJ mixes can lose the song. But this one does well. Some of the keyboard bits remind me of Orchestral Manuevers In the Dark / `80's-ish. And that isn't a bad thing - for this mix, it works.

Possible way that they 'altered' the pitch of vocals to fit their idea? Someone at U2 Recording Yahoo Group mentioned a program called Melodyne.

Just saw that - Melodyne DNA - in bold print on the cover of Sound On Sound magazine. Might have to read up on that. Seems like a fun program.

i like it and have heard the originials of the other songs too and I quite like their mixes as well.
