There's also a mass (and quickly increasing) number of apps available in the built in app store. The interface is highly modern and customizable (more than the iPhone) and the platform is only going to improve as more and more developers get on board. I've been using the HTC hero for around 2 months now and cannot recommend it enough.

Actually, I have, but I wasn't sure if it is the right time, if it has the right platform yet. So is hero good? What's the best out there?

The time is perfect and the Hero is the one. It was launched with 1.5 and is getting upgraded to 2.1 which makes it the most updated Android handset.

Actually, I wished I could find anything other than the iPhone that would be as good. Because these days everyone has an iPhone here, there is no unique-ness to it. But the Hero...looks good, has the same abilities + better camera and better looks and maybe other stuff I don't know yet. And it's an AndroidThanks for pointing it out Gerard. I'll have a better look at it and see if it really is as good as it sounds. What do you think Drew?
And by the way, it's price here is half iPhone's price![]()

Thinking of getting one of those myself.
