hard to say. Bono's speech at the R&H one is great but the song itself was played way too fast... could be the emotions. Probably prefer Slane more with that longer 'oooh' intro etc.

It was not played too fast. The wrong tempo is a result of PAL Upspeeding of the VHS and DVD-versions of R&H. This leads to higher tempo and higher notes. Take a good audio-Sofware like Wavelab and you can slow your ripped audio down.
(A PAL-Movie is about 96 % as long as the original NTSC-signal.)

Oh, that's interesting. Would that allow to speed up a little to Rosemont Horizon bootleg of 1987? The tape is slightly slowed down - if one compares with the other bootlegs, one can see that the tonalities in the Horizon bootleg are just slightly lower than they actually should be.
