1. Rattle and Hum, more raw
  2. Love them both equally.
  3. reconsidered. rattle and hum is better. even prefer brandenburger tor one over slane

It was not played too fast. The wrong tempo is a result of PAL Upspeeding of the VHS and DVD-versions of R&H. This leads to higher tempo and higher notes. Take a good audio-Sofware like Wavelab and you can slow your ripped audio down.
    (A PAL-Movie is about 96 % as long as the original NTSC-signal.)
  5. r&h

Oh, that's interesting. Would that allow to speed up a little to Rosemont Horizon bootleg of 1987? The tape is slightly slowed down - if one compares with the other bootlegs, one can see that the tonalities in the Horizon bootleg are just slightly lower than they actually should be.

Oh God, I always thought that... but I didn't know if I was crazy or what

Now I'm not that...... I'm not the only one staring at Rosemont...

I don´t know which Boot of the Rosemont gig you have. But the best known boot is Rock´s hottest ticket which has the right tempo as much as I know.
