1. Thats quite a list!

Rodrigo and Gabriela are mindblowing. Great live act to see.

Just bough the Yeah Yeah Yeahs Its Blitz CD and I think its one of the best complete CDs that I've ever boughten.

  2. If you get a chance to, check out Alice Cooper. He pulls smaller crowds now like 4000 but it's a great live show.

We went to Sunset Sounds last week. Great little 2-day (evening) festival, very chilled out. It was the second time I'd seen Rodrigo y Gabriela live and they were even better this time. Totally blew the place apart. They were on one of the smaller stages, but it was packed out and partying hard.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs were a definite highlight of the second day. Karen O is totally Chrissie Amphlett for a new generation. And we had giant inflatable eyeballs thrown out into the crowd and how often do you get to say that?

they're famous among indie fans and young people, and they've been called "the biggest cult band in the UK" on occasion. so I'd say yeah, they're fairly big.

they might just especially massive around where I live, though, as I got to school in their hometown of Wakefield.

-U2 if they really come in April to SA
-Roger Waters if he coes with the Wall like it´s especulated in December
-Muse and Green Day who will be touring World Wide

Bands I missed the concert that I hope to see:
-Rolling Stones - Wasn´t into Stones during the Bigger Bang Tour, could´ve seen them in Rio and in Chicago
-REM - I wasn´t into them when they came to Sao Paulo in 2008
-Radiohead - I passed by the venue and watched on TV
-Sting - missed him in a festival because of school exams
-Brazilian bands Titãs e Paralamas do Sucesso

2010: to be MY CONCERT YEAR!

  11. Nena!? That is so cool. A real 80's icon.
I loved her "99 Luftballons", "Leuchtturm" and "Nur geträumt". Great songs. Her rework from "Irgendwo, Irgenwie..." with Kim Wilde wasn't that good in my opinion, though.
    And she still looks amazing.

  12. Twice is better than never!

    In Brazil:
-Heaven and Hell, which is Black Sabbath with Dio (The Devil You Know Tour - 2009)
    -ACDC (Black Ice Tour 2009)

I missed out on AC/DC this year, hopefully they come back for another show.

    Will be attending in 2010:
-U2 (Miami in July for the 360 tour, gift from Santa)

I hope they come to Australia for this tour.

    Hope to attend:
-Guns and Roses if I have money.. they are coming in March (this one is not a must though, cause I a ikely not to have money then and there´s no Slash)

-U2 if they really come in April to SA

GnR played the entire new album on the last date in Tokyo and they're playing tonight. The dude they've got now I like more than Slash. They are still a great band - people need to forget Slash considering he hasn't been in the band for 14 years now. Have you heard the new album?

Roger Waters I've missed numerous times but I'm gonna get there. And same for U2.

Bands I missed the concert that I hope to see:
-Rolling Stones - Wasn´t into Stones during the Bigger Bang Tour, could´ve seen them in Rio and in Chicago

I only liked the Keith Richards songs on that album, Look What The Cat Dragged In and Driving Too Fast - otherwise it seemed kind of boring. They played a lot of songs they hadn't for many years and some as a first.
