    with the 14th being my first ever concert, i just want to say a massive massive thank you for the great effort you have put into this dvd, just watching those clips brought back memories and made me feel like i was back at the concert, streets and moment of surrender gave me goosebumps like when i was there..

    i cant wait to get a copy of the dvd, you really have done it justice, U2 should hire you to sort out their dvds instead of hamish, cos plain and simple, hes shite!

  4. wait until you see the rest...as we left it to members to choose, and the demo`s were the most requested thats what we put up to view....but it does not mean they are the best highlights!...vertigo rocks the foudations, ultra violet is crazy, unforgettable fire is moody!...alot of the other songs contain alot more footage and in some cases maybe too much!....the examples asked for are ok...but some of the other tracks are `alive`...

    unlike the u`2ubed dvd we have kept this honest, mainly for the purist!...i wish we could have had a free run and used footage and audio from different sources...wembley was limited on `good footage and volume of footage`...and the audio is still a shame to use.
    but in the big picture at least it is a good reminder for those who attended the london shows...and when you watch the whole thing it does work quite well as a production.

    both DVD`s are now finished and should be ready for distribution on the 17th/18th

    Just been thinking this over... I think you have been spoiled a bit before ...

    Concerning the video: you have been able to select and use only the best quality and angles for the u2 ubed version, in combination with broadcasted audio...and for Rose Bowl for starters the video was pretty much great as was audio.

    Even BIGGER the accomplishment to keep the multicam pure of the night (which is an accomplishment by itself), and use limited audio to make the best of what is available.

    And biggest THANKS to take on this project despite the limitations of the material available!

    I for one can only say..that looking at the previews..maybe this is the biggest achievement!
    Granted, the editing deserves sounboard audio....

    Take into account the sound that night was somewhat echo-ey...that will reflect all audio, whether directly affected or less...so I think you have done bloody amazing job in general..and that is probably an understatement!


    Taking into account that nothing in this production was taped/recorded professionally i think your editing and final mixing makes for a true pure fan made souvenir!!!!!!!!!

  12. Again: Is the 15th the complete concert (as it seems regarding the cover and one of Gen last posts where he wrote down the complete setlist for the 15th), or "just" the broadcast-version ?
